Hey Foodie Fam,
You may have noticed (or maybe not, lol) that you haven’t heard from me much this month, and here’s why: burnout.
For some reason, every year around October, I hit a wall mentally and physically. This time, I finally decided to listen to my body and take a proper break to rest, recharge, and reflect. During that downtime, I spent some time reevaluating how I want to show up for you, while still honoring my own health and energy.
So here’s what’s changing for the rest of this year and heading into 2026 so I can continue showing up as my best self for our community:
✨ Monthly Newsletters:
Instead of weekly updates, I’ll now be sending a newsletter once a month, on the second-to-last Tuesday. This gives me more time to create intentional, high-quality content you’ll actually look forward to reading.
🥗 Monthly Recipe Line-Up:
Our “Weekly Recipe Line-Up” will now become a monthly highlight featuring 1–2 of my favorite recipes I’ve made that month. Don’t worry, they’ll still be delicious, plant-based, and focused on helping you feel your best!
🌿 Still All About Health + Wellness:
The heart of this newsletter remains the same, helping you create flavorful, plant-based meals that support your health and wellness journey without sacrificing the foods and flavors you love.
✨ Pro-Tip: How to Avoid Burnout Before It Hits
- Listen to your body early. Rest isn’t a reward; it’s a requirement.
- Set boundaries with your time. You can’t pour from an empty cup, so say no when you need to.
- Simplify your routines. Choose easy meals, batch cook, or prep ahead when life feels heavy.
- Get outside. Even a 10-minute walk can reset your mood and clear your mind.
- Do something just for you. A cozy tea moment, journaling, or cooking just for fun counts.
Slowing down doesn’t mean giving up; it means making space for what truly matters.
