Hey Foodie Fam,
Ever finish a meal and think, “Wow… I did not need that last plate”? 🙋🏾‍♀️
We’ve all been there, and it’s not about willpower. Most of the time, overeating happens because of habits, emotions, or even small environmental cues we don’t notice.

Here’s how to avoid overeating while still loving every bite:
1. Eat without distractions. ❌
When you’re scrolling or watching TV, it’s easy to lose track of portions. Give your meal your full attention — savor textures, flavors, and aromas.
2. Start with water. đź’§
Thirst often masquerades as hunger. A glass of water before your meal can help you eat just enough, not too much.
3. Build balanced plates. 🍛
When your meals have protein, fiber, and healthy fats, you’ll stay full longer and avoid that post-meal snack hunt.
4. Tune in to “satisfied,” not “stuffed.” 🌱
Your body’s fullness signal kicks in before you feel overfilled — aim to stop when you feel about 80% full.
5. Enjoy your favorites — mindfully. 🍓
Cutting out your favorite foods often backfires. Instead, portion them out and eat them slowly so you truly enjoy them.

✨ Healthy eating isn’t about restriction. It’s about building habits that help you feel satisfied, energized, and in control without losing the joy of food.
