3 Habits to Stay Consistent This Fall 🍂

Hey Foodie Fam,

Fall is creeping in, and comfort food season is about to be in full swing. Did you know that fall is also when many people fall off track with their health goals? (See what I did there? 🤣) The days get shorter, the food gets heavier, and before you know it, those summer wins start slipping away.

Now of course I want to remind you that healthy doesn’t mean boring, and consistency doesn’t mean restriction!

Here are 3 simple habits that will keep you consistent this season:

1. Upgrade, Don’t Eliminate

Instead of cutting out cozy comfort foods, find easy plant-based swaps that feel just as satisfying. Think roasted butternut squash instead of mac and cheese, or a hearty lentil chili instead of a beef one. The goal is to add flavor and nourishment, not restriction.

2. Create a “Non-Negotiable” Habit

Pick one habit you’ll commit to no matter how busy fall gets, maybe it’s a daily 2-mile walk, meal prepping Sunday nights, or having a veggie-packed dinner. Keeping your promise with one habit makes it easier for you to stay consistent

3. Plan for Treats, Don’t Wing Them

Let’s be real: apple cider donuts, pumpkin bread, and festive drinks are coming. Instead of avoiding them (and then binging later), schedule when you’ll enjoy them. That way, it feels intentional, not guilt driven.

Life is about balance, not perfection. Fall doesn’t have to mean falling off track, it can be the season you prove to yourself that consistency is possible and delicious.
